Welcome to your Course Guide for HIST 348: Everyday Communism. As this course discusses "the experience of millions who lived in the European Soviet zone of influence in the twentieth century" and explores diverse topics, this resources on this guide are meant to provide a starting point for your research as you begin to identify what information you need for your paper. Staying in theme with the course, suggested databases and journals tend to focus on Soviet and Eastern European areas of study. There are some resources that provide a global and international perspective, but be prepared to search outside of the resources on this guide.
