Accessing Collections

The Avery Research Center is open to the public -- to students, faculty, outside researchers, and members of the community -- regardless of institutional affiliation. To access materials from Avery Research Center by appointment, please use this form.

Special Collections welcomes inquiries from all users, regardless of affiliation. Researchers can get in touch with reference professionals using the contact us form on our website.

Our collections must be used in our reading rooms. Some finding aids contain digitized copies of parts of a collection or references to digital files. But in most cases viewing a collection in its entirety requires a visit.
