Course reserves are physical or electronic materials made available to your students through the library. Students can check out physical items at the Addlestone Access & Instruction Desk. Electronic items can be linked in OAKS or on your syllabus. Students can also find materials (print and electronic) by searching Course Reserves.
Physical reserves are located at the Access & Instruction Desk. Both library materials and faculty personal copies can be placed on reserve.
Materials can be checked out by students for time periods determined by faculty. The standard loan period options are as follows:
College Libraries encourages the use of library eBooks, digital films, articles, and other electronic resources in your course curriculum. If you are interested in assigning something from the library collection in your course, we recommend submitting the reserves request form so we can check access on our end. In some cases, we need to adjust our licensing to ensure all your students can access the material at the same time, for the entire semester. This also helps us better assess and plan for supporting course curriculum.
After submitting your request, we will reach out to you if we need additional information and send you a course items link to share with your students.
Use this form if you are ready to request items for reserve or need to roll over current items to a new semester.
