Citation Styles for Exercise Science

Researchers in Public Health have the choice of two different citation styles--APA and AMA, . It is all dependent whether the research being done leans more toward the social science or toward the clinical ends of the Public Health spectrum.

Paper copies of both style manuals are available under the following call numbers:

  • AMA Manual of Style   Ready Ref  R 119 .A533 2007
  • Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association    BF 76.7 .P83 2010
The APA Manual can be found in Ready Reference, Circulation/Reserves and in the circulating stacks. The circulating volumes are older.

The following are online links for the above citation styles used by Public Health.
