College Libraries offers 3 Mac Studio workstations for media creation, digital scholarship, and DIY activities that support curricular activities, located in Addlestone Library's first floor computer lab. Stations have a variety of specialized software and equipment and may be reserved by College of Charleston students, faculty, and staff.
All Workstations have the following programs:

Mac 1 also has an archive-quality large format/slide scanner for image and slide scanning. The maximum scanning size is 11” x 17”. Slide holders are available for checkout at the Access & Instruction Desk. Scanned images can be edited using Adobe Creative Cloud.

Mac 2 also has a Cricut Maker cutting machine that allows you to create crafts and DIY projects with a variety of materials such as fabrics, card stock, vinyl, paper, and more. Cricut blades and accessories can be reserved for checkout when you book the workstation. Users must supply their own materials (paper, vinyl, fabric, etc.). |
Like the other workstations, Mac 3 has Adobe Creative Cloud software, iMovie, GarageBand, Audacity, and Xcode installed. The audio/video editing tutorials below apply to all three workstations. |
