College of Charleston Libraries is an All-Publications subscriber to ACS. In 2023, the ACS-Sponsored Read & Publish was added to the Libraries' ACS subscription. This allows College of Charleston researchers to make any article published in an ACS journal openly available at no additional cost. You can learn more about publishing open access with ACS on its Open Access publishing page.
Annual Reviews are published under the S20 (Subscribe to Open) business model. Under this model, subscription payments make articles open access, not APCs. The College of Charleston Libraries provide access to several Annual Reviews via their databases and current subscriptions. Still, at this time, they do not have active subscriptions to the titles that are currently in the Annual Review's Subscribe to Open program. You may submit requests to add access to Annual Reviews through the New Databases & Journals Request Form.
ACM Open allows corresponding authors to publish open access in the journals, conference proceedings, and magazines available in the ACM Digital Library. Detailed instructions for publishing open access with ACM are available on the ACM Open Author eRights Experience page.
